Provided by the Dept. of Families, Fairness and Housing
Thank you for your interest in The Bouverie Centre's elder abuse prevention training, which was developed in conjunction with The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Monash Health, Peninsula Health, Western Health, and Latrobe Community Health Service, as part of the integrated model of care (IMoC) for responding to suspected elder abuse.
The Bouverie Centre was engaged by the Elder Abuse Reform Team - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) to develop a suite of training modules to build the capability of the workforce to identify and respond effectively to elder abuse. To improve ease of access, the training has been developed into self-paced online learning modules, which are hosted and provided by the DFFH.
Please note that with the release of the online modules, no further livestream workshops are planned.
The Bouverie Centre would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this journey with us, including the more than 4000 practitioners who attended the live training workshops either in person or online.
Wishing you all the best for the future!
Warmly,
The Bouverie EA team La Trobe University - The Bouverie Centre
